Alisos Vineyards are located off highway 101, atop the rolling hills of Alisos Canyon. These Grenache vines were planted, without graft, in sandy soils over 15 years ago. They are still thriving in the moderate growing climate of Los Alamos. This climate contributes to the wines alluring bright and spicy aromatics.
WINE:
The majority of the grapes were de-stemmed and about 10-12% was whole cluster. In order to achieve soft silky tannins, the wine was pumped over once a day during fermentation. Aged for 18 months in 20% new French oak and 80% neutral.
